This project centred on transforming a blank rear section into a warm, usable extension of the home. With a focus on practicality and aesthetics, we delivered a bespoke timber deck that elevated the outdoor living experience.

The expansive deck was constructed using premium pine, laid in a seamless flow from the home’s threshold. Custom-built wraparound bench seating creates a comfortable and inviting spot for relaxing or entertaining, with built-in storage adding subtle functionality.

A horizontal timber screen provides privacy while enhancing the modern aesthetic, enclosing the space and creating a sense of retreat. Wide steps link the deck to the lawn, making the most of the split-level site.

The final result is a clean-lined, natural space that adds both value and versatility—perfect for summer lounging, family time, or casual gatherings in a low-maintenance setting.
